Within this page you will find a table that contains a listing of special symbols and letters. These symbols can also be found by going to your
Start Menu - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map where you can select which font you want and scroll through a list of letters and symbols. There is a large amount
of symbols and letters you can find through the Character Map that cannot be done using the codes listed below so be sure to check it out!
In order to use the codes below, you need to hold down the ALT key on your keyboard and enter the numbers on the number pad (not the numbers located above the letters, you need to use the number pad
located normally off to the right side). You can also find a similar copy of this guide under Web Design that contains the HTML codes for many of the same symbols below as well for use on your
websites.
Note: Not all ALT codes are listed here due to the amount of them. A full listing can be found through the Character Map on your computer.
